SkyCoach powers in-game replay at the 2025 U SPORTS East-West Bowl
SkyCoach was proud to provide in-game video replay at the 2025 East-West Bowl, hosted at the University of Waterloo’s Warrior Field. As Canada’s top collegiate football players gathered for an action-packed showcase, SkyCoach ensured coaches and players had access to reliable sideline technology of two camera angles from kickoff to the final whistle.
This marked the first time SkyCoach was used at the East-West Bowl, a milestone made possible thanks to our long-standing customer Wilfrid Laurier University football. Laurier Video Coordinator Kerry Martin has trusted SkyCoach for many years.
“We’ve been using SkyCoach now for seven years, and I couldn’t be more happy with the system,” Martin said. “It’s steady, it’s solid, it’s there on game day when I need it. And in the rare chance I need support, the team has been fabulous. One of the big factors for me early on was that the CFL was using it on game day. If it works in a pro environment, I knew I could trust it with U SPORTS.”
Laurier head coach Michael Faulds, who led Team West to a 32-20 win, also praised SkyCoach for its performance during the all-star event.
“Thank you to SkyCoach for our video replay this game. It was an outstanding product,” Faulds said. “It was great for all 27 schools to see it.”
The East-West Bowl featured big plays, trick formations, and standout performances from student-athletes across Canada, with replay access giving coaches a valuable tool for in-game adjustments. As offenses dialed up deep passes and special teams brought out fake punts, SkyCoach helped coaches stay a step ahead in real time.
